White Ribbon Day 25th November 2018
White Ribbon UK was founded in 2005.
To end male violence against women, once and for all.
We work with men and boys to challenge those male cultures that lead to harassment, abuse and violence. Our volunteer ambassadors engage with other men and boys to call out such behaviour among their peers and promote a culture of equality and respect.
We call on all men to take a stand against sexism and gender-based violence in all forms.
What can I do?
White Ribbon Day is almost here! For 16 days starting November 25th, thousands of people across the UK will wear a white ribbon, and take a stand against violence.
There are many things you can do to create the biggest impact in your community, and spread awareness during the 16 days of action:
WEAR A WHITE RIBBON AND TAKE THE PLEDGE
The most important thing you can do to support White Ribbon UK’s work is take to take our pledge and mean it. Only by standing up and being counted can we hope to end male violence against women.
Over 35,000 people have signed our pledge online. Join us.
