Barnardo’s Support Services

Barnardo’s have developed Dice in partnership with young people, parents and practitioners to enable a variety of organisations to deliver programmes to parents in their locality. The Dice programme  is a four-week early help parenting support programme offering an understanding of the risks young people face in modern society.

The four sessions cover:

Introductions and thinking of life as a teenager
The exploitation of children and young people
Digital dangers
Parenting top tips

Essex Invisible Lives is delivered by Barnardo’s to support children and families affected by potential hidden harms due to family members involvement in the Criminal Justice System.

The services aims to provide early intervention and prevention services and support to reduce the risk of young people being exposed to anti-social taking behaviour’s that may result in criminal records

The Changing Behaviours and Attitudes programme supports children aged 8– 19 years and their families where there has been an adverse change in a child’s behaviours of which may result in risk taking behaviours and/or offending
